USAID will not accept applications from individuals. Furthermore, U.S. Government departments and agencies may not apply for USAID funding under this APS. All applicants must be legally recognized organizational entities under applicable law.

Description

The United States Government (USG), as represented by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), Bureau for Democracy, Conflict, and Humanitarian Assistance (DCHA), Office of Conflict Management and Mitigation (CMM), invites applications for funding from qualified U.S. and non-U.S., non-profit or for-profit non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), and International Organizations (PIO or IO) to carry out activities that mitigate conflict and promote reconciliation by bringing together individuals of different ethnic, religious or political backgrounds from areas of civil conflict and war in the countries listed in the APS.USAID anticipates that approximately US$25,000,000 will be available to support the program(s) or activity(ies) described herein, although final funding levels will depend on content, quality, number of applications received, needs, availability of funding, and competing priorities.USAID will not consider any applications below a minimum amount of US$100,000 or above a maximum amount of US$600,000 except for applications for West Bank/Gaza and Israel, for which a maximum amount of $1,000,000 may be requested.
