Description
CDC’s Procurement and Grants Office has published a program announcement entitled, “National Acute Hazardous Substance Incidents Surveillance and Prevention Program.” Approximately $1,000,000 will be available to fund five to seven awards. The purpose of the program is to build capacity in state health departments to establish and maintain a state-based surveillance system for monitoring hazardous substances incidents as well as identifying vulnerabilities and performing proactive prevention activities related to these vulnerabilities.
