Additional Information on Eligibility:

Eligible applicants include public, non-profit, and for-profit entities that can provide T/TA on a state-wide or regional basis to community and faith-based organizations. Interested applicants must currently work with health centers or other community-based providers with missions and governance structures similar to that of health centers or on health center related issues. This is a limited competitive opportunity for current State and Regional PCAs and/or organizations who work with BPHC-supported programs or other community-based providers with similar missions and governance throughout the states of Alabama, Arizona, and Nevada.

Description

Section 330(l) of the Public Health Services (PHS) Act, as amended, authorizes the Secretary to issue grants, cooperative agreements and contracts to provide necessary technical and non-financial assistance to potential and existing health center, including: Training and assistance in fiscal and program management (program requirements); operational and administrative support (performance improvement); and the provision of information regarding resources available under Section 330 and how they can be best used to meet the health needs of the communities served by potential and existing health centers. Under this authority, the Health Resources and Services Administration's (HRSA) Bureau of Primary Health Care (BPHC) is seeking to establish cooperative agreements with organizations to provide training and technical assistance (T/TA) to health centers within their respective state or region with the goal of advancing the HRSA and BPHC missions.
