Description

The principle purpose of this project is to recover the data on the prehistory of site LS1 before it is lost to weathering and further looting of the site. The site cannot be protected from further looting which would remove the remaining fill from within the rockshelter. In addition, many artifacts with research value were left behind by the looters which were then exposed to erosion and deterioration.
