Description
The Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation) intends to issue a sole source Grant Agreement to Walker River Irrigation District, P.O. Box 820, Yerington NV 89447, under the authority of CFDA 15.508, Public Law 107-171, Section 2507(a)(1)(b); Public Law 110-161, Section 208(a)(9) and Public Law 108-7, Sec 207(a)(1)(b). The purpose of this agreement is to provide funding to the Walker River Irrigation District for weed control and water gauge improvement. These activities will allow improved management of water resources in the Walker River Basin (Nevada), thereby providing benefits to the general public in the basin.
Period of performance is from the date of award to February 28, 2010. Estimated award date: on or about September 4, 2009. Estimated award amount: $150,000.00.
A Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed financial assistance based upon Departmental Manual 505 DM 2, paragraph 2.14(B)(4) is solely within the discretion of the Government. This Notice of Intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. Central Contractor Registration (CCR) applies to this announcement.
